Namje featured on CNN as the 12 best unheard of places!

Namje village where we've been working for over 10 years has now been featured as CNN's 12 best unheard of places through our friend Stephanie Odegard. This news comes with surprise and has been picked up by many national news outlets. As a result, Namje, a village with about 150 families, has been inundated with new guests arriving from Kathmandu, Jhapa, Biratnagar and other parts of Nepal and also India.

Working alongside local NGOs and high school, our team in the village are creating a village tourism plan with home stay packages. Harka sir has been leading the project with the villagers to ensure that tourism will have a positive impact on the village environment, culture and its focus on higher education.
